I HOPE THEY CALL ME ON A MISSION...

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or as some call us the Mormons. As members of this Church we prepare our boys when they are young to go out at 19 and serve a mission and tell others about the Savior and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My sister had taken some pictures of her boys a few weeks ago as future missionaries and I thought it would be fun to take some of my little man. Here they are! I think he looks so handsome and I can just see him as a future missionary!

Aww, that is the cutest thing! He is getting plenty of practice! We had LDS missionaries for neighbors years ago when we lived in an apartment. They were the NICEST guys you'd ever want to meet, and they were amazing with our boys. They used to play street hockey in the parking lot, lol!

Stacy, love these!! Save them for when he goes, and try to get some in the same poses. My DS served in the Las Vegas mission--now THAT was an adventure!!

I don't know much about the Mormon faith, but he certainly looks like those men who come to the door from time to time. I especially like the oversized clothing here, seems to fit the image. I know you'll enjoy looking at these when he indeed is 19.

Wow. Those tug at my heart! He is going to be a perfect missionary! My oldest will be 19 this summer, so he's getting ready to go soon! It's what we've looked forward to his whole life, but now that it gets closer, it's a little overwhelming to think about sending him away for two years!
